DJ NOLAN

DJ Nolan is the premier DJ/MC of Moondance Entertainment. His love of music led him to begin his professional journey with music in high school, and he followed his passion throughout college earning his Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts from the University of North Texas.

While at UNT he was a radio DJ for KNTU 88.1 FM. Later he used his radio voice and DJ/MC skills at Southwestern University where he was the Voice of the Pirates, announcing basketball and lacrosse games, and pumping up the crowd with music and entertainment during events.

His energy, enthusiasm, and musical knowledge even landed him a spot as a contestant on the game show Beat Shazam, and although he didn’t walk away a millionaire, he brings his energy and music knowledge to every event he DJs.

Nolan has an appreciation of music from all genres and a wide range of experience DJing/MCing weddings, quinceañeras, parties, and corporate events. He has worked with couples and clients that know exactly what they want, as well as those who give him free reign. He has an intuitive ability to read a crowd and adjust the music and lighting accordingly to engage the crowd and get folks on the dancefloor.

Most importantly, Nolan believes it is a privilege and an honor to be a part of your special day, so creating the event of your dreams is his top priority. He will meet with you to ensure he knows exactly what your expectations are, and he will work alongside your coordinator and other vendors to ensure that the flow of your event and ceremony are in perfect sync.
